@divija dude, you have totally got @Neyawn wrong. No one is trying to become a BABA and we are not interested in giving gyaan to other people on the forum. I have dearth of time as I am working and other better things to do in life rather than giving gyaan in this virtual world. @Neyawn would not be able to clear this exam for other reasons and that is none of your business. People ask him for help and he tries to help people out.
P.s: We are not coercing our advice on anyone and you did not ask for any help, so why so much of gyann to us.
@Subhash_Nagre Ignore him. He is a nobody. He is neither from IIT , not preparing for Civils, not has ever been close to the examination process.
He comes up with multiple identities to promote GS SCore for some reason. He has three IDs as of now. He has been issued warning before, and ForumIAS does issue warnings to anyone who promotes their website/ institute etc - We have done so with Chronicle , NS and they have gracefully retreated.

He is consistently trying to pull up GS Score threads by posting from different profiles. Because of this even genuine students who want to have discussion on GS Score are inconvenienced.
We shall be blacklisting GS score from the website, just like we have done it for Chronicle IAS and a few others at least for a few months.
@Neyawn You still remember my marks . I would completely agree with neta wan, as far as books are concerned. If you are in a fix, go through Balaji's strategy, you can find it on insights. I quoted examples in few of the answers, I also wrote merits and demerits for all the options and why I have gone with a particular option. Lot of people get average marks because they are not able to complete the entire paper.

Gs score, what about your mentor Manoj Jha, did he clear the exam, who gave him the right to give so much of gyaan. I was thinking of joining your test series and 3 of other people were also joining, I will make sure no one joins your institute. Utter waste, you guys are. Get a life!!

This community is a boon for aspirants - especially those who do not take classes anywhere. Coaching Institutes should not spoil the forum with false promotion.

I have been following the forum for quite sometime and I indded find that quality of discussions ahs gone down because people do not encourage exam related discussions.

I also got around 80 both times. (2013/2014). Hoping for better this year but u never know.
I think it hugely depends upon whether you were able to manage the time or not during the exam.
Any comphrehensive book (Subbarao etc) is enough for Ethics. Back it up by some knowledge of Pub Ad topics like RTI, Citizen Charters and other such hawabazi.
Ethics is more about answer writing. People with very very limited knowledge (2-3 days) have score above 100. Practicr test papers a lot.

I have been around the forum for sometime and this is a trend I have seen. Every few months, people who do not contribute anything at all to the community will start an attack on Mods or other senior members. This is outright stupidity. Please understand the contribution of such people to forum and how such repeated attacks undermine the atmosphere at forum. Over the time, I have repeatedly seen @Etat and @Neyawn politely handle users who should be outright banned for using the language they use on a public forum. I personally have a lot of respect for them. Thanks guys.
