Guys I've written both 2014 and 2015 mains I found 2015 mains on the tougher side than 14 especially paper 1. And am expecting a score less than last time What do u guys feel? @Etat
I wasn't well prepared for the question types last year and I did read this year. So, I found this year easier. I made a few blunders this year too. But the number of blunders last year was 7-10 (questions). So, I guess, last year was an easier paper, but I can't tell for sure.
Last year around 235 , dis year paper 1 was very good , paper 2 good ,expecting 250+ , but i guess my prep this year was better than 2014 so , paper difficulty was almost same level .
Guys I've written both 2014 and 2015 mains I found 2015 mains on the tougher side than 14 paper 1 & 2 both.in paper2 many diagnostical q are asked in whch either u scored very well or very less ..no scope fr avg marks. but am expecting a score more than last time bcoz i was prepared well ths time...last yr paper 1was totally blundered fr me..and my score in optional was 213.
Paper 1 was certainly more difficult than last time.Paper 2 was of the same level on the A side and extremely difficult on the B side.But I guess people were prepared for clinical questions after the 2014 debacle.Personally I am deeply impressed by the way UPSC is preparing questions now specially in paper 2.My last year score was 247 which was above average.I drew a lot of diagrams despite writing shitty answers in paper1 and got 123.Flowcharts and diagrams with Rangai putai is essential in ms paper.Now I realise why the girls of my batch were always toppers.
The best part with ms is objectivity and our acquaintance with almost every topic .Questions like anorexia nervosa causing amenorrhoea were out of the world but still attempted by most of us.
I think expecting anything from UPSC is beimani,still medical science will fetch 280-290 marks if above average answers are written with diagrams and flowcharts.
