@Tyrion_lanister job search karne mein bhi time lagega. Start looking for a job while preparing brother. Upsc is a big gamble.
  • ye upsc bhi azeeb hai..itne tuchhe sawal puchh Dale gs me ki thukai ho gayi....ab prelims ka bhi prep karna padega roz...hahahabhahahha

kitne bure din aa gaye hain..hhahahjhahaa
yaar mujhe to samaj nahi aa rha next attempt dun ya job lun, already 3 years ka gap aa chuka hai, I want to give another attempt but can't sit idle for another year

karo upsc ki..par sath me aur bhi form bhar do..such aa state pcs , ssc ,

next year to ye patern fir se change kar rahe ...haha
  • how much more pain do i need to get in this fucking life...god would take my life by a simple plane crash and i will be happier than to live like this...i was getting a high score in various keys am in OBC....how come my number is not there...and less marks in general are clearing...to hell with upsc...i hate everything....i hate this world
bhai khoob ro lo... mai pichle 7.5 years se akela jhuggi me rehta hu. i feel so alone sometimes that i cry for whole night... you can't be in a worse mess than me. 2016 is just a couple of months away...love you bro...
  • @Aish11 if you have completed studying entire portion. Then go for job.
Slightly more than half way through actually. That is why leaving prep midway worries..

  • So I am out.
this was my fouth attempt. Wrote mains in the csat era. Left no stone unturned for this attempt. Daily insights writing, test series for optional etc bla bla and shit happpened! Given two interviews back to back in state psc. Failed there too. Was preparing full time after my b.tech(2011). This exam has a lot of luck factor involved and failiure here is too hard to digest, moreso for guys under similar condition as me.
I will be 27 soon with no job, no security, living on my parent's hard earned money. Fèels like shit.
After all those years of toiling hard now back to square one. Friends settled abroad, some married, ex gf too went abroad for masters. This is a hell of a life. But nevertheless all these things are expected when we choose to plunge into this uncertain BLACKHOLE called upsc.
Friends list out some options for job avenues(as its a long time for 2016 to come).

I Knw friend how it feels..i m on same boat..But i think we should look ahead for other schedule xam..Like APFC, JPSC also RAS is in lined up...
kabhi kisi ko mukamaal jaha nahi milta..
  • @DUKHIYA
    bhaiji same here 109 out
  • @kikijiki Hi. Sorry to hear. SSC has become tough to crack. IBPS, SBI and CAT are a separate group.
Preparation should be like this : SSC (or) CAT/IBPS/SBI (or) Civil service (or) Engineering Service/GATE
  • @Reema2688 same here 2.5 yr gap after working for 2 yrs exactly
  • @AutoGlobe Sorry to hear about your situation. But I would suggest that you look for some private IT job. There are lot of openings if you have the right knowledge. Healthcare sector will soon require lot of coders. Cybersecurity is another area that will be in good demand in India for some time to come(heck if they still need Mainframe coders, we defn need Cybersecurity guys to defend against NSA/China).

I remember One guy from my college had arrears in his final year. Yet within 2 years, he not only cleared that but also got a job for himself in a private IT co. If I recollect, he was very poor in studies. If you get a job, the pay might not be that good initially. Work-Life balance will be work only mostly. But then who is asking you to stay with that job your entire life?

Once you get a job, you can with the exposure you have got preparing for upsc, find yourself a good course, good college or a new job. Maybe you will have what it takes to become a entrepreneur or with so much dejection like us, a life scholar! :D Cheers mate. All the best.
Thanks for ur suggestion .. but in these 4 year upsc has changed my mind completely, i was never a good coder (ECE branch) anyway .. I have 0 day work experience, i have nothing to attract any IT company in resume except i did Btech from reputed college..

only option i find infront of me is SSC like govt job, that too has got very tougher these days.. but have to work hard in that only.. really don't know what GOD want from me.. there is complete darkness right now.

    thanks again.

  • lannister..do u have any courage left for upsc??
