  • Hi all, need a bit of guidance.

I want to change my optional from geo to psy. Please suggest strategies to follow for psy.
    Why i am switching:
    1. Lost interest in Geo
    2. Prepared it but haven't given mains.
    3. I dont like Maps Q and they are imp to score good marks in geo.
    4. I have this feeling that UPSC will start butchering Geo like it did with Pub Ad.
    5. I like psy as a layman, loves to read artical from psychology today website.

    I need guidance regarding:
    1. How much time it will take to cover syllabus
    2. Is coaching must or will self study and class notes will suffice
    3. Basic books for P1 n P2
    4. Test series - which one to join n when

    Thanks in advance.
