What I am saying these arguments would be loose and if we just demand extra attempt ...kuch nahi milega Instead we should ask for cancellation of this exam based on following points.. 1) 5-6 questions were controversial..even coachings couldn't build consensus over their answers 2) This has never happened in history of this examination that merit is prepared from mere 100 questions and aptitude part is completely excluded from it. 3) No answer key issued yet 4) Short notice of CSAT issue which was largely due to political motives 5) There should be alignment in paper setting of mains and pre...In mains where they ask good analytical questions...here in prelims paper is mostly fact based 6)CSAT was made qualifying to create level playing ground for all aspirants....how in the world could GS paper be made level playing where 3rd or 4th attemptee would naturally have advantage over people who are attempting it for first time....or even if they want to test only on GS.....then more questions should be on dynamic part/ current affairs over static part 7) Paper setting is amateur...this is a regular issue ....2 years ago they just translated passages from google for hindi aspirants...now they are asking questions which could possibly have 2 or 3 answers...They dont understand that now UPSC is all different ....there are more than 30k students who prepare very seriously for this paper and prelims carry great weightage in filtering out students.. so by setting such controversial papers, they are hurting chances of serious students and it all became a gamble to clear such papers..
phir wahi bacchon waali baat .. one needs to be rational and put across only those demands which have some chances of being met..
UPSC ki history mai pichle kuch saalon main aisa bahut ho chuka hai .. jo sahi nhi tha .. log abhi tak uss 'injustice' ki keemat chuka rahe hain dost..
I understand your situation bro ....... But main keh raha hu aise kuch nahi hoga robust system hona chahiye...so that hum ya upcoming aspirants aisi situations mein naa aaye jaisa aap logo ne jhela hai...agar only we demand attempts usse kuch nahi hoga future mein bhi aisa hi hoga short notices or political motives ke liye aise decisions liye jayenge...fir hum mangenge ek aur attempt..
Rationality decide karega court hum nahi.....and why polarisation? ...kuch soch samajh ke hi decision lete hai courts... ye koi tambola toh nahi hai ...nahi bhai mera nikal gaya pehle toh main hi dunga mains....agar tambola hi hai toh theek hai ....

bhai tambola hi hai.......aur tambola hi rahega the sad truth is nobody cares for genuine long term reforms. Every year same story will be repeated, ek attempt mangte raho, mil jaye to theek nahi to nikal lo apne apne raste.
talked to Mamata Tripathi today. She is the national Sec or something of ABVP. I called their Mumbai Head Office from where they gave me her mobile number. She also sounded genuinely interested and sympathetic. Asked what were our demands and upon explaining said that the demands appear to be just as time should be given b4 any major changes are introduced. She also said that once she reaches Delhi (right now in Nainital) she will take up the issue with her comrades and also said that her party workers would accompany us in case we wanted to go to any govt dept to give a representation. I asked her if we could meet her and she instantly agreed. now a few people need to take up the initiative to form a delegation to meet her and her colleagues and explain the matter in detail. all the best.
good yaar..@srimanbanerjee....you r really doing a great work...i think we will get an extra chance...
thanks. but baato se kuch nehi hone wala bhai. u have to show them the strength of numbers, so that they take u and ur problem seriously. and here only the delhi (different nagar) walas can help boss!!!! i just want this one more chance soooooooooooo desperately like i can't even express in words....
i agree bro...will surely be present in any meeting which will take place in near future..i am also in the same boat...i also want an extra attempt desperately...got an attempt in 2015 because of an attempt made in 2011...but all went in vain...
