how many of you have actually completed watching all his videos?? I felt he dragged through initial video's but hurried half way through... ultimately I didn't feel like he covered atleast half of our required syllabus... although you can find proper beginning and the end, much of the needed stuff inbetween was left uncovered... these are lectures for optional courses, not regular ones... he needed to build some interest among his student's which he tried well... but I think he didn't overwhelm them with much stuff that upsc actually demands... just my opinion... anyone who actually heard all his lectures can please add up your opinion... thanks.
You are right to an extent. The purpose of his videos is not UPSC. having said that, I strongly recommend devoting those 50 hours watching these videos as reading other stuff becomes easy and interesting. He will also help you build your perspective which would definitely help you in analysis which is asked in mains these days.

For example, look at his lecture number 9 & 10 and listen to his in depth analysis of census. It is completely mind boggling. It is simply amazing that how such a small tool was used politically against India. Simply superb.
