Yes U had posted a pic of ajay i guess? Really happy for the kids. Also a big thank you.. for making a difference in their lives. They are lucky to have someone like you to guide them.
So forum's is torn by low traffic so it enabled like dislike button and get adpirants distracted but it will withdraw it after prelims bcoz of heavy load and when its will be stiched again So it is proved forum is selfish
@lalsalaam12 tumhari shaadi ho gayi. Hehehaahaae. Seriously bro.
Bhai apni shaddi nahi hosakti , na job , na bank account or na hi ghar sirf kuch hai to wo hai UPSC ka experience.
Optional ke marks par shaadi hoti toh tum Miss India ke husband hote aaj.. Itna saara mark kaise le aate ho yaar optional mein??
Bhai i started Upsc journey at age 21 , now i m 27 , so it has been 6 years approximate and out of this 6 years i have atleast given 4 years to my optional , so that is the reason i m scoring. But now i have to give my 90% time to General studies if i want to have any chance in this UPSC game, otherwise i will be out everytime. And one thing if it would have been other subjects ( humanities) i would not been able to cross 250. Mechanical has some advantage when it comes to optional subject but disadvantage is that no overlapping plus infinte formuals to remember and revise which eventually hampers ur GS preparation. Thats why in last 10 years only 4 to 5 candidates have crossed rank 100. Usually mechanical lies below rank 100 despite getting high as 280 plus.
Hello Sir.I'm new here and have had interaction with a few guys here. It's Very encouraging to find serious guys like you as many of them...... Although i am almost your age or may be just an year lesser, 2016 would have been my 1st attempt.Since I was stuck up in a site job,(civil engineer)i couldn't manage any time atall. So,i have decided to skip 2016 and prepare for 017,keeping Civil engg. as the optional.I am also a bit relaxed at the workplace because of the recent promotion and a Fresher site engg appointed at my designation. So, I am more in planning and Less in Structural Execution now.hence, more of a desk job which requires analytical skills and therefore not as tiring as my earlier role.
Thus,i can manage 017 a/w the job very well. As i had some papers common with mechanical like Mechanics of Materials ,i am very well aware of the complex concepts and imagination involved in your branch. Added to this is an interesting fact that the civil guys have to deal only with the basic STRENGTH OF MATERIALS ,while you would have dealt with the ADVANCED SOM as well, which was essential for Machine designs .I have yet not named many other complex subjects due to my limited knowleage ,but the basic idea was to put forward the fact that MECHANICAL is the toughest branch and Civil stands next to it.
So you automatically become the most competent person, from whom i can take the guide lines for preparing Civil engg. I know the papers are different but i want to know, how did you manage such a vast syllabus. What did you do to clear up the doubts and some conceptual errors that arise some times, which are very minor but self rectifation is difficult .I want to know all the major strategies you had employed . Please help.
Seems 2016 will be a watershed year in the history for phony liberalism all over the globe..Brexit in Europe and trump in USA. Crude but real world is rising to slap the shallow rhetoric of liberals. Lofty talk with no real actions need to go. Appeasement is to be rejected.
