Should i skip 2015 and target 2016?

I have given 2014 mains with Pub Ad. As usual, didn't clear (Most of the pub Ad guys says the same :P)

Didn't use the post mains-result time contructively. Started studying the new optional from Mid april and started GS a fews weeks ago.

should i skip this year exam and prepare whole heartedly for the next year?

Try for 2016 ( only if you can maintain focus on your studies.
2015 is very risky. Wat i guess that you qualified 2014 with greater help from paper 2.
so your confusion is valid \m/

I have opted for commerce. I have covered around 45% of the syllabus. :)

most suggestions were on the line of not skipping as it may result in loss of momentum which i agree to a large extent. i am currently in job too and managing new optional in such a short time with a changed pattern in prelims is going to be extremely challenging for me.

Bro, i have a good hold over GS. Its not a problem. I scored around 100-105 in paper 1 in prelims. :)

The thing is half of my day ends in the coachhing and i am getting very less time for self study. :/

True bro. During the first attempt, doing a new subject is not that tough due to the enthusiasm and energy within us. But after an attempt, it goes on diminishing.

Yes, it was my first attempt. :)

Bhai ,study till PT. See where u stand before the exam and then decide. As easy as that.

Aur ek baat , whole heartedly kabhee nahi hoti apne jaiso kee study. Apna heart apne pass hota hee kaha hai. :P
Apne ko to Jugaad(bina heart) se hee padna padta hai . :P :D

People like neha jain have secured rank in first attempt with coaching. @confused_soul, don't worry post mains reading and learning power speeds up like anything, moreover in GS you already have a good stronghold.

Aur 100% confidence to kabhi bhi nhi hota apni preparation par . but not attempting a year will make you complacent and you may lose out that extra edge .
I won't advise you to drop this year if this is not your last chance. :)>-

Upsc to ek jua hai, poori mehnat krte hue kood jao, kbhi km pdhe bhi tukka lg jata hai , aur kabhi sab pdh ke bhi kuch nhi milta. :P
