Major issues in News for CSE 2015

Hi all,
Just wanted to get a list of issues which have been in news this year, from which questions can emanate directly/indirectly in Prelims and Mains of CSE-2015. The aim is to build a comprehensive list, possibly segregated topic wise, which can be updated prospectively.
Merely mentioning the issue shall suffice, providing the respective URL links for the same is discretionary. This initiative might be helpful for those who have not covered the Current Affairs exhaustively, and to just double-check if we are not missing out on some major issue in news which we didn't come across due to some reason.

@syzygy Could you give the details of current affairs compilation? I've not been very regular in following current issues. And I need to catch up. If we want to take up topic wise, we need a list of topics first (classification). Then we need to know from which month we shall begin jotting down issues. Of course we shall be relying on Insights, Mrunal, Forum for various issues. But we need to come up with a list of our own. This is what I think.
