I think..taking new optional like psychology can eat time too much..if I have to quit geography.. need to go with pub ad...only.... god knows..kya hogga... anyhow need to take a call..

tiger bhai . i had geography in 2013 got 48(P1) and 106(p2) then and coz of this could not qualify mains 213 but this time me and my friend have cleared mains with geography and i see that geography is not doing bad like last year , not sure if GS got me In with less or avg marks in geography but still stick with geography as switching would take lots of time
@tiger0108:Dont take pub ad.Highly risky business these days..There is a big difference between pre and post-2012 pub ad.Even m also looking forward for new optional and surely will take as already thrice i have tolerated nonsense of pub ad.In last two attempts couldn't make in to final list just because of pub ad.
Geography after being butchered for years after years, this year came as a paper like state pcs. plate tectonics and all simple qn. but is thr any guaranty that next year will be like this ? I left geo for pubad . geo i thought was becoming too vague . but see this year geo was damn easy and most of the guys have got a call for interview. the problem is now you switch subject from pub ad to geo or vice versa and papers get reversed. who will you blame? I just wising that 2015 pub ad paper will be easy or atleast from the syllabus
yes obviously... pub ad...has been dealt heavily fir last few years..i m sure it will change.n geography might be at receiving end this year...watever if with such geography paoer I can't make it,it'd simple geography not my cup of tea...have to shift over. @cse_seeker

dost pub ad is not easy. Try psychology. Go thru anay dwidey blog. don't take it the wrong way but agar geography se selection is saal nahi hua to pub ad to rula dega. Pub ad main yaar mujhe paper 1 samajh nahi aaya and paper 2 was all about examples. It won't be easy with pa. I m sticking with pa nevertheless. But only bcoz I m too afraid to change

Hmm dekh bhai. Pub ad is not a bad subject. But baat yeh hai ki uske paper 1 main kareeb 50-70 questions aise the which u can't answer correctly. U xan only guess and hope guess is right. Ek question yaar mcgregor ki khud ki kitaab se tha.. ab kitna padhoge.. duniya ki saari kitaab to nahi padhoge na. pa main ab selective study bhi nahi kar sakte. Believe me ek question ke 3 main se kisi ek subpart main kuch nahi samajh aata. fit paper 2 main har question ke last main un logon ne bola hai give recent examples and illustrations. Ek do question jaise governor wala to sirf recent examples likhna wala tha.. koi theory nahi to bhai what I want to say is select pa if u can give illustrations on any topic. Baaki go through this year paper and think about it. I wish u all the best in ur decisions and welcome aboard in case u take pa
