Sick of Congress' politics now. The reservation was provided with the sole motive of getting votes. After witnessing politics over this issue, I say, this is how the self-appointed Secular Party of India has ruled us for 60 odd years. The 'divide and rule' politics of British is in the blood of the Congress Party and they have used every tactic to stick to the power since Independence. Such politics leads to creation of stereotypes of communities like the one we are reading about Jats now on this thread. This is very sick, actually. BJP is overtly communal. Congress is covertly communal, but in my opinion, Congress' politics has been much more damaging to us as society and a Nation.
useless discussion I am a proud.Indian n proud of my caste(jat), they are mostly very nice people, plain, simple honest at core.I do accept jat probably didn't deserve reservations in harayana or Delhi etc but come on u guys think there would not been any caste will not protest after similar judgement. let's keep it civil n have respect for each other, even if can't respect me please don't insult my heritage n all there hard work. ppl staying in delhi paying lakhs n lakhs.in coaching n other activities shud not talk reservation being unfair, let a poor village guy say it. doctor, engg, iim iit alumni doesn't deserve reservation.
p.s. I am doc n jat (from Rajasthan so still obc ) have not yet used obc but having intention of taking its advantage, life isn't.fair get over urself.
Guys yes the SC judgement is a good move especially because it comes at a time when caste appeasement is the trend. Still we shouldn't stereotype an entire community as 'brutes' as one guy put it. Also, my jat friends here on this thread, most of the comments seem to be just teasing, harmless fun. Don't take it so seriously, lighten up. As students preparing for an exam we all are probably more similar irrespective of our castes than a jat farmer is to a baniya businessman.
jat 2% bhi nahi hai india me... par border secure karne me sabse aage rahte hain......ye londe itna ghabra kyn rahe hain..... jo apna haq mang raha hai mangne do..... kyaa UPSC se puchh ke protest karenge ... )
@Dodo_Pandit ancient padh raha hun aajkal...... panditon ka to nam na lo..... desh barbad kar diya..... )
In haryana/punjab they are the topmost and in the whole of north india they are one of the top 3 or 4 socially and economically advanced communities. So, yes thread opener is right in alluding to their brazenness.
Omg so much hatred!Clearly castes and reservations are firmly entrenched.Maybe we love our castes more than each other.Thank you votebank politics you have divided us forever.
Lado mat bhai.. Reservation based on caste is bad... We all know it.. Everybody knows it.. Let JAT fight.. Either they will get reservation back or they will stir this issue leading to nightmare of all caste in OBC list... And I hope this case goes to constitutional bench and SC revise OBC list itself with SIT etc
