A Miracle?

Do you know an asian country of 30 crore multi-ethnic population, which just like India became independent in the middle of the century, wrecked by the colonial exploitation of centuries, having socio-economic indicators equivalent to haiti and honduras in those times; lifted itself to the ranks of high human development countries (HDI rank 61/187 when China 101 India 134)? I just stumbled upon this.

Can/Should India learn from it? If yes, will try to find, what, how in coming days?

(Well, other examples are there e.g. China, Japan, South Korea but i don't find them similar to India in one way or other (population, area, political system, history ) )

ak bro u forget that congress is ruling india and the condition is tipsy torvy.regardng hdi v were 134 in 198o we are 134 in 2011.ths goes against the funds delieverd by the govt.whch shows the dismal picture and difference between real and chimera.
