  • "Will" there be change? Or "Should" there be change?

    Will - Dunno
    Should - Yes
  • i strongly support you..:)
  • The question is about..."will"...
going by d logic n previous xperience of prelims'11 it seems no possibility of pattern change!
  • prepare for the worst and hope for the best:)
  • Will change : Probably
    Should Change : :-(
  • Will change : Probably
    Should Change : :-(
    Why SHOULD it be changed?
  • It should change. But probably, it wont be changed this year. I prefer the concept of having a common paper for all. Considering the topics are general. It should provide an equal footing to all.

    Will Change - No
    Should Change - Yes
  • will change : Yes for sure
    should change: obviously should change
  • Evidences for it WILL change:
    1. Recently notified PSC syllabus of Chattisgarh appears to be a adopted version of much anticipated release of new syllabus. Rajasthan changed its syllabus.
    2. UPPSC postponed its notification too so its not just Central Services.
    3. When CSAT was implemented, Prelims were postponed by a month, same going now with mains.
    4. The period of examination of mains is 21 days justified by 7 compulsory papers of chattisgarh psc.

    SHOULD change bcoz:
    1. In all respect the syllabus of chattisgarh psc appears to be almost perfect as it is looking for "Jack of all Trades" as they make better administrator. Masters better head towards field of creativity and research.
    2. Bcoz of this stagnant syllabus better talents are moving towards Management (MBA). Subject specialization discourages smart people to pursue this kind of preparation.
