From last couple of weeks I was wondering how had britishers and Pakis viewed the same sequence of events in Indian history.
Since the histories of india and pakistan are no different uptill 1947. It would be intersting to have a new some fresh air.
I Started reading some Cambridge and Oxford school books on kindle ( some of them were free). However I am not sure of what pakis are reading /writing.
I read somewhere that a lot of bull shit is taught in Pakistan esp during and after zia ul Haq's tenure. Type "Hasan Nisar - pak history" on youtube. This guy is a paki journalist and completely pissed off by pakistani historians and their anti India bias.
Can anybody share some Pakistani history books?
Eg. books like (these names are lifted from pakistan's forumias known as cssforum.com.pk. in pakistan beaurocrats are from css aka central superior services)
K. Ali
Sohail Bhatti
Pakistan Affairs by Ikram Rabbani
Constitutional and political history of pakistan by hamid Khan
Could not find even one of them anywhere on net.

Do read Ayesha Jalal & Sugata Bose. It'll give an alternate and relatively unbiased view. They have been extensively quoted by Sekhar Bandhopadhyaya as well.
