@Confused_soul Gain nothing. But lose everything. According to NPT only 5 nations can possess nuclear weapons. China among them.
By signing NPT nuclear-weapon states pursue nuclear disarmament aimed at the ultimate elimination of their nuclear arsenals
So if we sign NPT we have to eliminate nuclear arsenal, while China and Pakistan can threaten us with their nukes.
So India would never sign NPT, while at the same time India endorses nuclear disarmament. And may be that's why Japan asking India to sign alteast CTBT. @aamengineer Correct me if am wrong.
yes yes only recent statement last 2-3 months ago ...japan withdrew the NPT clause from its conditions

Also, yeah japan has removed thay conditopn to ask India to sign CTBT now. Npw, it wants something more than AP which has India signed with IAEA.
