i think not, you paid for the material and you got the notes ,right,so certainly you did not steal it.
also once you are out of the institute ,you are no more bound by any legal terms with them.
also,the various bookshops and xerox stores sell class notes from time immoral ,wont the c.right rule apply to them as well?
but, i will tell that mentioning name of the teacher is not a cool idea,after all he has copy-pasted it,not you.
just use some software to remove all watermarks,problem solved
