ARC ‘s local body report says at “ all the three level head should be directly elected but existing provision doesn’t allow state assembly to amend the election provision for block and zila panchayat”
But I read that recently in rajasthan during local body election congress slammed BJP for changing the law coz BJP govt made head to be elected indirectly by ward panch and congress want the earlier position where head directly elected.
