  • guys, pls suggest options whether be patel nagar or ORN
  • patel nagar : cheap <10k + easier to find 1bhk
orn : higher rents ; upwards of 12k for a proper 1bhk (if u dot want to live on roof terrace single room cum kitchen ) + availability issues ie will have to wait for sometime till December end
karol bagh is also an option but again availability could be an issue .
Also i dont think that even if you are joining any coaching ,living 1km -2km away would be a problem . So prefer patel nagar .
  • Patel nagar best option...I too have shifted there last week 1 bhk
    Metro 2-3 min walking distance
Rent 9K plus power n electricity
    Not much noise n disturbance
So I like it there and to find a okay 1bhk less than 15k before mains are over...highly unlikely
With metro it's 3 Or 4 min to orn

    hey guys, thnx for reply,

hey yeah i want to join coaching for some modules. at present i dont know about the location of coaching centres but yeah Patel nagar would be gud considering the accommodation rate.

    how u found the room?

are brokers there?? can u giv me the number.
also if u guys know any room pls let me know. I am shifting in 10 days.

    thnx
  • I think best is to talk to brokers on phone to get an idea of rents/terms before you come here. And dont stick to anyone . Their phone numbers you can get by searching in forumias itself or on coaching insti websites. When you come be ready to spend one day to see the rooms in person. brokerage is generally half month s rent. Negotiate as much as you can .
All this trouble can be bypassed if you can directly deal with aspirants who are leaving.
  • As far as Patel nagar broker concern here are few no.
Paras (kind of small time guy tht will show u plus shud be cheapest) 9999149939

    B M properties
    9891466536
    9211645263

  • One more karan (he got his own shop)
    9999185646

Otherwise what Scooby doo suggested is best if u find a plc where someone is vacating or u have to pay min. 15 Days ..try looking at house or get a plc to stay otherwise u have to decide on plc only in couple of hours or so
  • thnx guys, i will speak to the brokers and will see if i can find anyone who is leaving.
  • I saw a room in patel nagar rent 10000 but the trouble is that room is facing the front side of the road.Traffic noise, metro going seen from inside. Is it advisable to take such a room attach bathroom.I am wandering for the last 3 days in ORN but still couldn,t a suitable mainly because of that broker thing.guyz pls help me as tommorrow I again would be going.
  • ^^^
Tell the broker to freeze it for some time ,may be half a day or so and meanwhle keep looking .If you find anything better , well n good. If not you can go ahead with the same . Living there for 6 month or so you get used to traffic noise. though try for some quieter place.
Are you getting kitchen as well for 10k? if not i think rent is on higher side. try negotiating a bit . There is little chance to find such room in orn specially before december end/jan.
