  • Padh lo! Just 20 days left, mister, make 'em count!

Paraphrasing Kabir Khan of Chak De! India, Inn 20 dinon ko aise jiyo ki khuda bhi tumse khud ye 20 dinn na chheen paaye.
  • my experience says that course/syllabus never gets completed....even if u r in your Nth attempt, where n tends to infinity :)

Bhai...2 din aur kha gaye tum...kangaali me aanta geela mat karo....
Kuch tips de do...kaise kam se kam samay me jyada se jyada padha jaaye..khali peeli padh lo kehne se nhi hoga...
  • Muaaf karna, I was just trying to make you realise that 20 days can still make a LOT of difference if you want it to. I wish there was a 'one size fits all' approach for padhai, mister. I have a friend who says that no one can qualify this exam if they study the way I did/do. Then again, it worked for me, and hoping for something good after a few months as well.

Kya bolein tumko, batao? Specifically poocho, I'll try to help. :)

  • @messi_ronaldo : Thoda push karlo i would suggest.
    12-14 hours ka schedule banaao

6 hour purana pehle ka revise karo whatever you have done. 2 ghante so jaao fir 6-8 ghanta naya padho. Ye 12-14 din tak karo. Fir last ke 6days me jo naya kia wo revise karna.
    I hope it helps :)

Dost...sahi bataye to is forum pe u r like rbi..lender of last resort...!!
Am having problems with gs 1... modern history i did it frm spectrum ..world frm lowe n youtube...india aftr frm bipin chandra..but thats all before pre..revused only world..that too missing out on imp points..nw my problem is whether i should revise all the books again...or jus revise them frm shortkut sources like sriram notes or vision ias etc. Which will be new fr me...revising all will tk lots of tym..and if i dnt revise there vl b no use of me studying them before... again geog me am unable to understand whether ncery will do or not...i studied it before pre...not sure if it vl b helpful for mains..nothin much came frm it..

Fr gs 2 n 3..i made my own notes..but i hv vision gktoday and insight notes..my notrs r nt as comprehensive as them..so which one to target of the three ...or all three..
Gs 4 mein i dnt hv aprob as such..buy still need to tk out a day to study fr it..

My optional is only 50% complete...so weyher i shud try to cmplete whole course or try to study selectively...like leaving out topics which were asked last yr...n so on...

Btw, u r very sure na ki still 20 odd days can do wonders fr me?? Sach btao...i am very nervous...

For GS 1- flip through spectrum in one day. World History in another one day. Bipin Chandra, again one day. Geography the 4th day. Enough. Paper done. Remember, I said 'flip' through it. You are bound to remember everything if you glance through it again. After all, you need to write about 120-150 words only, yeah?

Do your notes in 4 days, and spend 2 days for the extra topics from any ONE of the two sources for GS 2 and 3.

GS 4, another day. So till now, 11 days gone.

For the portions in the optional that are left, do the UPSC question papers of the past 5 years. Study those portions in 4 days.

You are still left with 5 days... revise anything that you are unsure of.

Done! And I seldom lie, you know. :)
