Can v nw stop reading newspapers as by nw the paper would have been set by upsc or should v continue till the exams...suffering from lack of time to revise other things...suggestions plz??
Last year october end tak ke aa gaye paper mein, when the exam was on 1st Dec, now given it is on 14th Dec, I would say read till Nov. 10-15th esp. till the Nepal SAARC summit.
I would say that you should keep reading till December cos some issues keep running continuously and there might be some sudden development in them. If you dont write the recent development in your answer, it reflects poorly. That's just my opinion.
Newspaper is something that you ought not to stop reading till the day you kick the bucket. Only if you're hard pressed for time to finish static portions, skip as little as required / possible till you finish.
Last time, a question appeared in gs iii about porous boundary issue, esp @ Myanmar. 3 days prior to the exam, an article appeared in idsa about that same. And if am not wrong, yojana Dec 2013 published something on 3d printing. Issue was on stands by last week of Nov. And there is a question in gs iii on same topic.
well ,according to me most of GS comes from current affairs,so i am devoting maximum time to current affairs...ie Hindu....even though it can backfire me...but regularly reading newspaper especially Hindu...covers all the relevant topics except History,Geography,etc.....i will try to read Hindu till 30th November.....
Read only the important editorials from any 2 standard newspapers if you are short of time. Continue doing that till november end. Won't take more than 45 mins.
