Solution by Insights: option (a)
I feel the right answer is option (d). As (3) Tehsildar has the authority to issue land record and caste certificates (OBC certificates) .

Kindly clarify.

Solution given: c) ( reason: Sediment load of the river is responsible for only formation of flood plains and levees.
My solution: d) ( reason: Sediment load determines the meander formation)
Please clarify.

Formation of ox bow lake depends on speed of flow of water in the river, the base material on which the river is flowing ( rocky, sandy, clay etc.) and the silt load which the river is carrying with it. So my answer will be d
