Is CST magazine‘s CSAT mock papers easy or hard?

edited November 2012 in Miscellaneous
This question is directed to all those who have been reading CST magazine for current affairs. @neyawn i rememer u mentioning about it.

I tried solving one of their CSAT mock papers of December issue and struggled big time. So i am starting to wonder if it was me or the paper...i need to know if their paper 2 mocks are really csat level or they are intentionally hard. Would u recommend to solve those or should i just solve CL and Byju tests whenever i get my hands on them....

Btw @neyawn did u read their S&T and Foreign Policy issues for prelims and mains? If yes, did you find them REALLY helpful? Or just monthly CA magazine is enough?

Comments

  • i also found it super hard..much above of csat level..
  • @iwannabeias I would not recommend doing CSAT from CST. Waste of effort. Its not even very logical. Its just TOUGH. I would recommend CSAT for paper -2 of GS, especially foreign affairs. You'll find foreign affairs very easy in your mains once you do Foreign affairs from CSAT every month.
  • csat or cst ?
  • csat or cst ? ;-)

@neyawn thanks bud. So you read the foreign issues only from the monthly CST current affairs magazine? You didn‘t read their foreign policy magazine?
  • @a13g bhai..when u ask a question...ask in proper way so that others can help you..no link to article..no context specified..no new topic created..just posting it in any discussion is not good way to ask questions...see how other are asking question, do likewise..surely someone will answer..
  • @iwannabeias no need to do csat practice from CST magazine..totally irrelevant...i suppose u must have realised that by now..
  • I have read diff names regarding magazines....in toppers blog....like
frontline wizard chronicle ...which is the most efficient? @asingh....seniors plz reply!
  • I can vouch that a large number of questions came from Frontline. To be correct, a no. of questions that came, were covered in Frontline. Some people do Wizard, which comes up with a complete coverage of all news between June-Sept. In the end its also a matter of personal preference. You may do any ONE of CST, PD, Wizard or CSC.

@Asingh thanks bud. I will only practice their passages and decision making questions. Rest was just too much.
@neyawn so The Hindu+Frontline+CST for GS mains is sufficient? To date I have not purchased frontline magazine....i figured that it would cover same issues as Hindu because they are subsidary of it.
