Hi guyzz....m gonna start indian polity...with laxmikanth...as it is most imp...fr both prelims and mains.....my doubts are. 1)...shall i make notes fr this book...?.or just each n every line is imp.!!.. 2) how to differentiate each topic with respect to prelims and mains??.... Plzz who have some experience regarding this...try to sort out!! Tnxx in advance
1 laxmikant is already written in notes form so dont need to make notes straight away just read and read then you will remember most of it 2 for mains there will be very little chance that u have asked to write straight from the book ,ques are application analytical oriented u need to have knowledgw of polity with latest happening or trend in acts amendments to write a ques rest seniors will guide u better
You cannot make notes from it. Just underline things which you feel are really really important. Other than that read the whole book and keep on revising it at intervals. You should be able to complete the book in quick time since it is very well written for even a layman.
@pranith i have done laxmikant back to back now. u dont have to make notes of it. just read it 4-5 times. after that u will hardly find anything in the paper from polity which u dont know. learn the important articles and schedules. u can do this by learning all the tables available in the index one by one. will take 2 days to do all the tables. then when u read, u will be very comfortable in going through the chapters.
important chapters for prelims is 1. Union 2. State govt 3. Intro part.in that order..
i dont know about mains..but i have done this..and idid previous years questions.including last two-3 years and i was able to solve al of them from what was given in this book..for mains pov, it might not be sufficient and i am not qualified enough to answer this question as of now..
