If your optional is Political Science and International relations then you can go ahead with UR GHAI. But in terms of General studies, please refer on www.idsa.in site only :). You will be able to answer all the questions covered under General Studies 2012 paper 2.
  • u can take a look at CST special issue on foreign affairs..it is bit expensive..like 550/- and very thick..but if u just glance through it once..u will be able to cover most of the world blocks..very methodically..
wen u write mains..at least that time the terms like CEYLAC and IBSA will not seem new..

what u will benefit from that book is that u will get a historical background to bilateral and multilateral relations
has any1 else here tried it?
  • @asingh bhai i read that handbook posted by someone on forum.it was really good.,i mean now i know different IR theories and terms.but then i saw this UR ghai in mukherji nagar and it was really awesome i mean better than that handbook.and more importantly it was latest 2012 edition.so a bit updated
