My last day in Delhi - Dr Shaleen

edited August 2012 in Miscellaneous
Hello friends,

I am leaving New Delhi for home today, in a few minutes and from there to the academy. I am not sure how active I shall be able to be from the academy, but I shall try. Before I leave I wanted to say bye to all of you. It has been really great to meet all of you online on this forum. I have made some friends, (and fans :P ) , and thanks to all of you for being in this community when i was going through bad times or good.

I sincerely hope that you all work hard and make yourself worthy of the great opportunity you all have. Make the most of it. I hope that some of the people i have met via forumIAS will be friends for life.

I wish you all the best. I hope to see you in academy next year. There may be dark days and difficult times, but never never NEVER give up. Winston Churchill did not. And he won Great Britain the second Great war.

UPSC is more of a mind game than a real sport. But you only know this once you are on this side of the line.

Strike hard hard enough to break the UPSC armor. I hope you all remember MARCOS. Let us resolve to make our lives better. Work harder. Dream bigger. For our dreams are not just our dreams, but also of our parents, our siblings, and even of the poor multitudes of India whose live we may be able to make better.

  • I will second @Aks . You truly made this forum different from all others. Your constant motivation was very helpful, sir.

Please continue posting on this forum if and when you get time. Don't let it be a farewell msg.
  • There are very few men like you sir, concerned about others. You have not only shared information but have also shown the path to realise this dream. I am very happy for our nation, we have an officer with such intellect and is yet humbly helpful. You have added one more reason to my cause, I will work hard to meet you some day on that side of the river...
  • @khajoor...
