Article 371J and 371D, what after Telangana ?

edited May 2014 in Miscellaneous
Article 371D and 371J provides special status to parts of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka(I'm not going into details). My doubt is what happened to these provisions after Telangana formation? Are they the same or they have been amended or something?

    @aspirant21

    The Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act has amended A.371D so that it now reads as "State of AP or State of Telagana" in the marginal heading, and throughout the article. The article, therefore, will now apply to AP as well as the successor state.
    Also, the provision for admission quotas in institutes of higher education will continue for a further period of ten years, during which the existing common admission process will continue.
  • Same is fate of 371I ??

    @aspirant21

    A. 371I deals with the number of members in the legislative assembly in Goa.

    A. 371J remains unaffected, since it deals exclusively with the State of Karnataka and its administration of the Hyderabad-Karnataka region.
  • @igirit sorry for typo error...but you sensed it already and answered me !!! Thanks!!
