Hi guys me and my friend was thinking of going to vajiram ,samkalap and chaithanya for mock...Whats ur opinion about the mocks in there..any feed back would be much helpful as we dont want to waste our time attending some below standard mocks...
@IAS_Passion Whats the issue with samkalap...also a lot of bad remarks are coming abt vajiram in this thread itself... The point is we dont want the mocks to be a confidence killer...

Vajiram experience is like one panel is good. Actually both Chairmans were good. One is a retired ifs old and wise person and the other I got was a SBI CGM retired. But its the other panel members who are a headache. Some keep asking factual questions that are no way related to current affairs or ur daf. One guy from iim who was good actually was so demotivated by the panel member like by saying u are from iim, u should know these things, u have not prepared. These are not actually stress interviews but confidence killers.

same happened with me at sankalp. One person asked me why I changed courses and did LLb.....when I had clearly mentioned that my father is lawyer!! I had to correct him. Another one asked me the similarity between geography and astrology! (later I thought maybe he wanted to say astronomy). And they waste alot of time by making you sit here and there.....
Based on my experience I would say, you can go for mock interviews only to test your conduct but not content of interview. Disadvantages of attending many mocks: 1. loss of spontaneity if same question is asked (like why do u want to join civil services etc) 2. Multiplicity of feedbacks which maybe contradicting from one mock to other, you may end up losing your confidence or confused on how you should conduct yourself.
Suggestions: 1. Prepare possibility of questions, by yourself on DAF, current affairs and imp issues India is facing and try to answer yourself. 2. Attend interview with confidence and say answers confidently. conduct yourself like an IAS officer there. Many times its not what you say but how you say that matters.
