Some questions I can think of:
1. Why so much agitation about Kasturirangan report, do you think Govt/District Admin could have done a better job, what if you were the DC in Wayanad/Idukki etc?
2. Nitaqat and its impact on Kerala - Economic, political, social
3. Report on drug use/smoking/drinking by school children. What can be done?
4. Migrant labour in Kerala. Why is it increasing? Is it good for Kerala? What should be done by Govt?
5. Aranmula airport - Opinion
6. Athirappally project - Opinion
7. Islamic Banking (It is almost implemented AFAIK, as a NBFC)
8. Kerala Model vs others: Say Gujarat model, TN model etc
9. Classical status for Malayalam- What does it mean to Malayalam?

It is the airport coming up in Pathanamthitta district. Many protests are on at a local level, some taking it upto state level.
Concern:
Ecological destruction (need to google more on this), favoritism to get approvals etc
For-Arguments
Airport near Sabarimala, will help tourism + pilgrimage
Against-Args
-Less than 200km from Trivandrum and Kochi international airports - so no economic sense
In general the view is that the owner is some big shot, with good hold on central and state govts. But dont mention this in the interview.
Kerala Govt - We need to generate more electricity. Cant buy at high prices.
Activists - Threatens the biodiversity of Silent valley, affects local population
Jairam Ramesh(Envt ministry) gave thumbs down and as of now the project is not in progress
Nope, I dont think any of these belong to Trivandrum
There was one proposal by TVM MP Shashi Tharoor to have a partnership with Barcelona city, didnt work though. Was opposed by CPIM -Mayor and colleagues.
Just mention that there was such a proposal but didnt work out. and u r not aware of recent status
