[Unconventional Hobbies, lets discuss] Making short movies/documentaries and social networking

Hi,
I have "making short movies/documentaries and social netwroking" as hobbies. Can anyone suggest relevant interview questions on this? Lets also discuss questions for any unconventional hobbies that some of you might have mentioned in the DAF, I am sure I am not the only one. X_X

  • Some questions for you:

what's the difference between a movie and a documentary? How do you intend to use this hobby for the societal good?
Do you know about a short documentary filmed in India which won academy award recently? What was it about?

Social networking can bring in a flurry of questions! First of all what is social networking? What is the difference between social networking and social media? Should social networking be regulated and why? What dangers do social networking pose to internal security of our country and can you quote some recent events in relation to that, and What can be done to avert them? What is blogging and microblogging? What is the character limit for a tweet on twitter? (this question was asked to someone in PT)
How do you intend to use this hobby of yours if you become an IAS officer?
  • Social networking and quizzing are my hobbies.

For social networking they asked me few questions in my IFoS interview (marks: 177, board: Smt. Alka Sirohi)

    What is social networking?
    What is twitter?
What are the issues related to social networking?
    How to tackle those issues?

    Questions that may be asked:

    1. What are the uses of social networking?
    2. Do you think social networking helps in governance?
    3. How do you use it effectively?
    4. About 'My India initiative' scheme

    I'll add few more soon.
  • @Ainvayi Thanks a lot, you pointed out some really pertinent questions. \m/
