On one hand IAS officers like Kannan Gopinath, Shah Faesal etc. decided to chicken out citing flimsy reasons. Their real motives aren't known to anyone.

On the other hand we have IAS officers like Dr. Prabhat Kumar, current chairman of UPPSC, who devoted their entire career to public service and did commendable work on the grassroots. Even after retirement from regular service, as chairman Dr. Prabhat has turned around UPPSC, which was left to rot in hell by the previous Yadav regime of SP.

On one hand Kannan Gopinath chickened out after 6 years only. On the other hand, officers like Prabhat sir are serving after 60 !! And doing epoch making work.

He resigned because he was facing inquiry for dereliction of duty. Instead of facing it, and replying to it, he chose to quit service citing flimsy pretext of Kashmir. What an a**hole

No wonder coaching institutes loot aspirants so easily. With such impressionable and gullible people, coachings are having a roll.

True!!!
Ye log se expected tha ki different viewpoints ko samjhke fir decision le.... but Inhone toh individualism naam ka khatarnak sasta nasha Kiya hua hai. Service me gye hai , ek responsibility hai inki but inko valley ke religious fanatics k HR ki chinta hai...aur ye tab jab A370 k jaane se unhi logo ka benefit hai. KPs k HR toh khair inko dikhte hnge nhi akhir amnesia se pidit Jo hai. Kash neutral hoke kbhi unke liye bhi bolte ye log toh kitna acha hota.
