Is it possible to clear next year if one is starting from scratch and consistently devotes 10-12 hours of studies daily from now onward? What should be the strategy that should be adopted or what should be the important things that should be kept in mind? Kindly help! Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to clear next year if one is starting from scratch and consistently devotes 10-12 hours of studies daily from now onward?

Without a doubt. Even 5-6 dedicated hours every day and 8-9 hours in vicinity of exam will get you through. Remember, consistency is the key, not sporadic efforts.

What should be the strategy that should be adopted or what should be the important things that should be kept in mind?

    - Coaching waalon aur toppers interviews par aankh band karke believe mat karnaa. Sabki sun'na, gun'na and jo sahi lage vo karna.

    - Optional bahut dhyaan se chun'na. Bina optional ke marks ke rank bhool jaao.

    - last but not the least, girlfriend banaane ke chakkar me bilkul bhi mat padna. You may think this is a humorous/trivial point, but every year thousands of deserving aspirants of orn/mn fall out of race because they get involved romantically with someone or try to get involved with someone. True.

baaki guidance ke liye follow point 1.

all the best bro... may the force be with you... ;)

I thank you from the core of my heart for the genuine suggestions that you gave me. :) And regarding italicized part- no, not humorous/trivial. It was actually one of the most important things that should be kept in mind. I understand fully. Thanks once again. :) May god bless you in UPSC Mains and UPPSC and infact in life ahead. :-)
