As result is declared now, please post your takeaways from this mains result . What lessons you learnt and what should be the right approach for mains 2019? Also, did you expect that you would clear/not clear?
1)don't attempt the exam if mains syllabus not fully completed (including short notes for every topic ) atleast two months before prelims. two months before prelims only prelims focus. after pre time left only for current affairs, revision and mock tests. 2) limit social media to minimum including forumias etc
I have never been involved in any discussions on this site. as I end my 6 attempts and 6.5 years, I chose to write down something today, revising past 6.5 years of life in summarized form. It was meant to be only for my own sake, but still I would like to share it now that everything is over.
Just be calm and take this exam without any expectation ..Chances of failure are more....This exam is all about sufferings and pain ...Very few get success ...so if you are successful accept with dignity and if you fail tell yourself atleast I tried.
But be true to yourself thru out the journey.
Hope is a good thing may be the best of the things and good things never die.
750 vacancies is the most important reason for failure to many both in prelims n mains 1400 vacancies as der in 2014 could have made many of us simle today . Competition is getting tougher and tougher day by day and this bledy politicians who promised us achaa din atleast not giving Da jobs we deserve if the same trend continues 2019 could be another dibacle for many feeling hopeless on the system and society hard work has no rewards.
I think those who passed in each optional should hold a discussion with those who didnt. Itll help both of us, them in understanding their strengths and us of our weaknesses. Right now I dont even know what went wrong. Teachers under whom rank 1s have studied previously told me my answers were good, an under-200 ranker from last year told me my answers were good. Still didnt make it.
