Same here bhai.... Nahi hua upsc mains clear... Feb first week ki news thi mere paas to and ~480 final seats for 2019 pre... and Feb mid me 2018 mains ka result....
Been there bhai.. Twice... Bas agle attempt pe asar na padne dijiye.. ek mahina kharab ho jata hai warna mains ke negative result ke baad. Abhi mains likhiye pcs ka sdm baniye tab tak agla upsc fir aa jaega. All the best.
Thanks bhai... Ek last attempt bacha hai... Vo bhi de dunga.... Ab itne failures and successes dekhne ke baad negative-positive asar padna khatm ho gaya hai.... Baaki focus PCS par hi hai.... Waise ab lagne laga hai ki UP hi karmbhoomi rahegi bachi hui zindagi....

I have been through this stage....my suggestion is..agar age ho..abhi 1 attempt bacha kar rakko..go for pcs with focus ....ho jaega..n ek confidence ayega...n with that new energy..go for this last attempt...yr life mein when we desperatly want something..we never get.thoda time lo.....all u need is 1 attempt..so dont rush.

But mere case me ab I'll hang up boots in 2020.... Already UPPCS 2017 me BDO mila hai.... 2018 UPPCS me service improve hone ki hope hai.... I really wish ki at least DSP mil jaaye 2018 wale me.... I'll attain salvation... Father bhi retire ho jayenge this year and 2 chhoti behen bhi hain.... So will have to take up financial responsibilities of family.... And jyada ambitions nhi hain,,, I've broke even vis a vis my academic capabilities.... Koi outsider (non civil service prep experience wala) meri schooling me performance dekhega to PCS ko bhi bada achievement manega...

Yr...tum masti ke sath bina kisi pressure ke prepare karo..hope ki 2020 is ur year...n success is always defined by u..koi kya sochta h kya farak padta h...every person has their own struggle..so its just a music..dance on it.
