I think the cut off will fall because the papers were off beat this time.
1.GS 2 had direct questions but many people didn't write them properly because we don't expect such questions in mains. For instance lit of people didn't know the articles for CAG or Financial emergency.
2. GS 3 was relatively difficult and people won't be getting marks in 130s like last year.
3. GS 4 was general and people will be getting average marks.
4. Essay topics we're not straightforward and people have interpreted them wrongly.
5. Optionals were tough irrespective of the subject.
6. People have developed a tendency to overuse graphs/points/charts and I feel this will backfire.
A combination of the factors will pull down the cut off.
