Silly doubt regarding killing bacteria

I know this is a very silly doubt but it is stuck in my head.

If bacteria can survive such harsh conditions as extreme heat etc. then howcome they are killed by simply boiling the water?

First tell me this, have you started Prelims prep? How could you think bacteria is a single species? Please thoroughly read NCERT Life Sciences class 6-10 asap..it's a very ridiculous question to ask.

And then ask yourself how you'd like if an alien came to Earth today and questioned you 'If one mammal (eg. Polar Bear) can survive such harsh conditions as Arctic cold, how are another mammal (eg. Human) killed simply by freezing the surroundings?'

your comment is ridiculous...dara rhe usse .... :'(
  • The books only mention that all microorganisms can survive in harsh conditions. Even if some are killed as you are saying then still their might be some bacteria left and they may be harmful.
