    2016 - 121.33(got a rank in 800's)
2017 - 95.66 (prepared only pt 365 and tried my luck)
2018 - 92.66 as per Shankar (clear IAS prediction gives hope. But gut feeling is that I won't make it☹️ )

jis hisaab se obc ki sankhya bd rhi he kuch saalo me obcka cutoff gen se aagey jayega prelims me
OBC constitutes around 55% of the total population now... that is why Government of India has not released the caste date of SECC 2011, coz it would lead to the demand for increase in OBC quota in education and services. In Rajasthan, OBC cut-off for State PSC is always higher than General cut-off, coz Rajasthan considers all those who opted for OBC category as reserved candidates, even if they scored more than General category cut-off. If UPSC applies the same, then OBC candidates are doomed.
Dada, in rajasthan 2016 ras pre obc cutoff was around 93 and for general category it was 78 but court reverted that result and stated that there cannot be negative reservation (or some similar term). And that was the only instance wrt ras this is not the case every time. Just clarifying. Btw are you from rajasthan.
No bro. I'm from a Northeast state bordering Bangladesh and Bhutan.

In 2017 how much shankar was giving to you?
  • Shankar - 96 I think Shankar key is more or less accurate , moreover, controversial question mere pahele se hi galat hain except Aral wala :)

    2017- 114.66 same as calculated

    2016 - 109.38 same as calculated

Every time before the exam - this time I will score 15 - 20 marks more than expected cut off but it never happens. :'( :'(
Aral ka kya expected answer h ? Both ya only Aral.
Bhai pata nahi main to galat maan ke hi chal rha hun ... Maine sirf Aral Mara hai
Aral and MPs vote is wrong in that definitely wrong in that ..if Human capital only 2 marked then that may also be correct..adding all them you can get 103.** i think

    Vajiram - 104
    Vision - 101.33
    Shankar- 98.66

I have also become a reluctant veteran of this UPSC field ( 4 Pre, 4 Mains, 1 Interview ). As per my view cut off should be in the Shankar's range(90 - 94 for obc). Atleast for me, It was not only the relatively tough paper but other factors also pulled down my score (was suffering from viral fever during pre exam time; Made lots of silly mistakes in very easy questions like GI Tag(WTO), GOI 1935 Act, Carbon Fertilization etc.).
hey, donee you think u r in border? as there is a high chance of reducing (or changing) of answers by UPSC. but anyways as some guy above said, "you obcs" have attempts till 35 .. if u dont even clear this time, Ur UPSC dream is not gonna end!!!

can u guess who i am?? i caught you here...

    Ok..
MP wala to B option lagaya tha wo to waise hi galat hai..
Human capital 2 only ya 2 and 4 me confusion ho rha tha.. aur last m chhut gya ...

At minimum 96 at max agar only Aral hai to 98.66 isse jyada nahin aayega..

In that case no body is safe (except a few hundreds lucky ones). Anyway, everything will be clear in few days.
BTW, I can very well recognize you by doing little bit data mining of your threads/comments. Actually, It was quite easy :)
