@Dexter2601 yea. Whether to make notes or rely on vision? Because making even bare minimum notes about facts,figures and examples is time consuming. So, is it worth making notes.
Considering the trend of Prelims where seniors are stressing on giving proper attention to the newspaper. So to be on the safer side, I think notes making from newspapers is essential now. It may happen some news is missed by vision magazine then your notes will be useful.
While reading a newspaper one has to have an eye of discretion between what is contextually relevant (the context is CSE here) and what is not and that can only be developed if you understand the demand and the needs of the examination. To sum it up in a statement - the more efficient one's filter will be the better it will be both for absorption for prelims and for reproduction at the time of mains.
