  • Nextias is good faculty wise.. The teachers are good.. The same faculty was in ksg before except 2 teachers.. Good way of teaching.. Watch some videos online of the teachers of these institutes and decide for urself..
Yes, I was watching their videos on youtube and also checked out their website. I have been reading reviews about vajiram on quora and everybody was saying that it is crowded and you won't be able to seek guidance from teachers personally. As next ias is new and faculty is good, I want to know would it be worth going for a newly opened coaching institute? I have doubts whether they will be able to provide as good notes as other institutes.
Institute is new but is of made easy which itself has its name in IES coaching.. Also the faculty is old.. I took coaching under this faculty in 2013 and they always guided me personally also.. Demo class LGA kr dekh lo
    Thnxx =D
  • Don't join any coaching institute for GS it's worst thing you can do in UPSC.You might clear prelims with coaching but they are useless for mains especially Vajiram instead watch 2-3 toppers videos to get idea what to do and what not and follow them.

No clearing prelim will cost you years..Better join a coaching..
  • NextIAS is good..Vajiram will be better..

how is vision ias?? their printed notes seem good, and judging by their strategy and guidance sessions, faculty also seems quite professional
Vision is very good when it comes to their notes, strategy and their test series (Pre, mains and essay all). I am not sure about faculties. Some friends had average experience with their mains program after prelims. Not sooo good and not bad. I personally believe vision can be a better option compared to Vaji

and @Zxcv I did watch next ias videos. Ma'am who taught IR was really good but the unacademy guy Deepanshu is just and just average. First time saw a faculty teaching current affairs just by jotting down points from cellphone which was hilarious. Just check KSG videos on S&T by khan sir or even onlyias. That is how current affairs is to be taught. With background and forward backward linkages. Had I been in your place, would have gone to NextIAS and met some students attending classes and asked them for real feedback. Hope it helps.
Hello, any feedback regarding Visions online programs (mains test series etc)? Thank you IA. :-)

Vision used to lead the board when it came to test series whether it's mains or prelims. But recently when forumias rose up then vision has lost its monopoly. GS/IAS score, vision and forumias are three really good options. I would clearly advise you to choose Forumias among these. Feedbacks provided are really good and mentoring comes as a supplement. If you submit papers on time, evaluation is timely.

  • EK baar paisa chadana banta hai ...nahin to upsc ki feel kaise aayegi...kahin bhi jao...lautne yahin aaoge ki sab bekar hai self study ke alava
  • there is no university or college in this world that don't face criticism... even few of Harward's / IIT's own students not fully like them... similarly is the case with coaching classes...

so, now lets see what is best possiple...
vajiram is THE best , for those who need to attend foundation course.....how anyone even compare nextIAS with vajiram !!! most of the name earned by nextIAS is because of it's name used by forumIAS in there address, as a landmark...!!
managing and running successfully ,class of CSE is 180 degree different from engineering services classes, and much cumbersome too..... they are of no match.... many IES toppers never come in the list of CSE, but the teach in madeeasy, as star faculty ... CSE preperation and coaching, both , have totally different game than any other exam in india... in fact CSE is at very high level... nextIAS is new and will take all of there mental resource to manage any thing something of vajiram's foundation course... it will take time...

2nd best is vision... and for video classes, vision is only one....

joining any other , like the fake-RAM, that is apposite of vajiram... will be suicidal.... this fake-RAM gives money to father of 2nd ranker to write something good about there classes... and they keep publishing that everywhere , even on moon... i have not seen anyone that has not regreted profusely by the end of the classes of fare-RAM...

there is no other classes for foundation course , which can even think of math the quality of vajiram, whatever they are providing, I AM NOT SAYING VAJIRAM IS 100% PERFECT...

my observation says, one must not join any new or small institute if one do not know someone in that institute personally... or already has some result in there hand to show off... almost all new or small coaching has weird kind of administration... which you will have to deal with on regular basis...(even Gaurav Agarwal sir mentioned about synergy' staff) ....

now my fingers are hurting, cant write more
