Guys, how has been Dehradun as a centre for CSM and for Sociology too? and How is it result-wise i mean..mains performance and comfort and convenience during writing mains. I know it might appear a silly question but considering the cut throat competition in Delhi I am thinking to take a chance and write Mains from Dehradun if I clear prelims. Veterans please throw some light!

Quality of students at doon centre will be any time much better than any average centre of Delhi. At least 20 in service forest officer 4-5 cse qualified 5+ good PSU + 8-10 DSP type officer out of 120 student at doon. So cut throat will be more in Dehradun rather than Delhi.
Dehradun has toughest competition percentage wise. All state govt employess give dehradun+ after 2-3 failed attemlts in mains generally people come back home. They give dehradun centre choice.

Overall the centre was good. Central location, airy, but noisy
I knew 4 and all r giving interview.
There is nothing like cut throat competition in Delhi. I think at every centre only those who qualified prelims are given chance to appear for mains.
