It's just approximately 3 years. They ask fresh certificate during interview (better to use new one during Mains DAF itself)

Thanks... got it. But just asking... wont it be a contradiction to what the Notification says??? That "All certificates have to be dated before Last Date of filling of application for PRELIMS", if the NEW NCL we use for DAF is dated after 6-02-2018????? Coz after working so hard, if we are disqualified after interview for this reason... Myself I have appeared for 2016 Mains but could clear 2017 prelims... and in 2016 DAF, all my caste/NCL were dated before Last Date for Prelims...

"All certificates have to be dated before Last Date of filling of application for PRELIMS"

Read that in prelims application perspective!
It's NOT mean "during final verification all certificates should be before this last date"

Purpose of this line is candidates should be eligible while applying.
