Can anyone here give me advice on this dilemma?

I am an aspirant but I do plan on giving UPSC only in 2020. However, I want to give 1 or 2 hours a day from today for upsc but I don't know whether I should give it to GS papers or optionals because there seem to be talks of optional removal In 2019 or 2020. What should I do?

  • If you are a student, your graduation with good grades must be the top priority. UPSC preparation mustn't come at a cost of your grades.
If you are starting, go through the basic NCERTs and then focus on books like Laxmikant, Spectrum etc. After you are done with these, then you should focus on optional.

I am not a student. I am preparing for SSC CGL this year. I spend 7- 9 hours a day on it. Just wanted to allocate some time for UPSC.
