MATHS MAINS 2017 , HOW WAS THE EXAM ? and Expected marks ( those which are sure shot correct )

around 0.7 for P1...0.9 for P2 .....will be the scaling...don't expect partial marks except for some proofs in P2..

@Catman : This year my correct attempt in paper ! is around 230 and may be more as I have doubt in second part of a 17 marker.
in paper 2 my correct attempt is around 180.
last year I screwed paper 1 and got screwed by paper 2. got arounf 117 in paper 1 and 118 in paper 2 (although my attempt in paper 2 was around 150).

Bhai is baar toh bahot mushkil se syllabus complete hua tha and i also left statics in paper 1 and Fluid, Dynamics in paper 2. And no test series as well.

Ek advice de do bhai, mera plan toh tha pura syllabus complete karne ka in 2 months now. But some people are scoring 300 in Anthro in a preparation of 3 months. Should i think of changing the optional?

Bhai log calclus ke liye koi achi buk hai kya...where i can get all the question bcoz most of the question upsc ask is not in ims notes like 1(c) and 4(d) in 2017 paper..i dont know how to solve these questions..Also 4(c) in 2016 paper.Is there any good source for these quesions..?

@Catman : I wouldn't advise to change ur optionals. As many people are saying that some optionals require very less time and are highly scoring, for that I would say we are only taking perspective of selected candidates. Every optional will require thorough understanding and will need a lot of time.

I would rather advise to first complete on that part of syllabus which u did skip like statics and dynamics part. its really easy but requires practice. After completing syllabus go for previous years test series papers or past year papers.

@Jack_Sparrow001 : bhai maine to krishna aur IMS k notes hi kiye the. yaar koi nayi book karne se pata nahi na ki next year usse aayega ya nahi. Rather stick with conventional sources and practice a lot.

any prediction on scaling in p1 and p2? those who wrote last year or before..

Thanks bhai. Yeah that is what I had planned. How much marks are you expecting at your attempt? More than 300?

And do you have any experience with marks attempted vs those received last year?

and in paper 2 - correct attempt was around 150, got 118 marks.
this year I am expecting increase of about 50 - 60 marks.
