There is no other goal for GA sir which is left to be conquered. He has done it all. Maybe he follows the philosophy of 'eat, conquer, sleep, repeat' and now nothing is there to be conquered. the disenchantment has taken over.

Are you suggesting he is suffering from the problem of plenty ? ;P
Maybe first world problems in a third world community ?
Hard hitting stuff man! Moreover, there is a reason why the best people from each of our colleges are not opting for the civil services anymore. Broadly the preference in decreasing order of cgpa would be research>mba>private sector>cse. Obviously there are exceptions.

I beg to differ. I don't think this is a problem of plenty. That might be the case for an immature individual who derives motivation from hardwork+quick results. The talks/interviews of Gaurav Agrawal don't betray that tendency.
Just like we can't study in constant fear of failure, an officer cannot work under constant fear of prosecution, and that too baseless prosecution in many an instance - a vicious cycle that pervades the entire chain of command.
But the moot point is that this is the reality. It's not a pleasant scenario but that's how the machinery is working. A few lucky are able to carve a niche but at great cost to their personal and professional lives. Accepting this is tough because a thinking individual cannot see the mental capacity go waste fighting the procedures rather than putting them to use.
He is brave enough to accept and say it aloud. I have a couple of friends in services who are frustrated and disillusioned. And they were not the ones who had illusionary beliefs about the job they were getting into. They knew the reality. But you can never be fully prepared for it.
And to those who are enchanted by the social media honeymoon period as is the norm these days - they would never be writing such posts. They would never contemplate. Because there's always enough to keep your ego satisfied and your social image on peak in this job. Posting or no posting, work or no work a social media account can mask all of that. So those people aren't the barometer anyway.

If I remember correctly, Sir did mention something like Economics /Further Studies to Manoj Tibrewala Akash, Doordarshan.
CSE is a redundant and much hyped race.
