Pick R.S.Agarwal's verbal and non verbal reasoning and the quantitative book. Don't bother buying new books, head out to books stores which keep used engineering books, you will find copies in good condition.
Practice. At least 2-3 hrs/week. Learn to enjoy it. Don't worry too much about the toughness.. If its tough, its tough for the majority, if its easy, its easy for the majority.
These are mostly logical problems, put some time and effort to it and you will find your self drawn to the problems. Its not like GK or the blasted economic survey where you have to memorize details.
