Back Up Plan

Hello Friends
I need some guidance and suggestions from you.
I failed in prelims this year. My score was around 103.66-106 in general category. Now I am preparing for next year. Only thing which is bothering me right now is job insecurity. Thoughts keep on coming in my mind regarding what if I could not clear next time too. So, please suggest some back up plan or any other option to come out of this anxiety so that I can prepare with free mind. I will turn 26 at the end of this year.
My history is that I did graduation in Mechanical Engineering from IIT in 2015. After that I worked for 11 months in a Pharmaceutical company in supply chain department. I came to Delhi for preparation last year in July. Though I gave prelims in 2015 too which I could not clear because I didn't prepare for it. I didn't give in 2016 and failed in 2016. So practically it was my first attempt. I am applying on naukri.com also but am not able to find any job there. I had a CTC around 7.5 lakhs in previous job.
So please suggest a back up plan with reasonable remuneration. Should I prepare for SBI PO and other banking exams side by side as my CSAT is week and I might have failed in CSAT paper this time( attempted only 40 questions).
Moreover my optional is History( I didn't take mechanical as optional because I didn't study it properly in college) which is too vast. Moreover performance of History optional is not good these days. So anyone with history optional please share some foolproof strategies so that I can prepare it till December.

Please help!!
