  • If u r upsc aspirant with history optional then follow same strategy(except map question). last two years paper shows shift in pattern from traditional 1 full question type to 3 sub part type questions.. Books are almost same as for upsc..
    Ancient- IGNOU/upinder singh/DN jha..
    Medival - Satish Chandra/selected IGNOU
    Modern- BL Grover/Bipin Chandra
    World History- Jain&Mathur

    Follow Vivek sir's(CSE-2015,rank 300) strategy for uppsc..he scored 281 in history optional(uppsc)

Personal suggestion:- syllabus se topic dekh kar self notes bana lo..2-3 month lagenge par kaam pakka ho jayega..Baliyan ya H Jha sir ke notes bhi refer kar sakte ho..

Hindi medium se Dena hai toh Ghatnachakra ke saath Arpan aati hai kabhi kabhi. usme selected logon Ki strategy dekhlo.
