edited September 2013 in Miscellaneous
I sincerely request all the fellow aspirants/seniors who have appeared for Civil Services Mains 2010/11/12...to share their experiences in a particular format as given here...if they feel like adding some other relevant things...they are most welcome to do so....This will help all of us to devise a strategy while writing Mains this year and coming Years and will surely help us to align our Preparations/Answer writing in right direction...

Year of Exam
Subject (GS or Optional)
Paper(1 or 2)
Total Marks
Attempted Marks
Expected Marks
Attained Marks
Writing Style
Your Plus points
What more you could have done?

I shall give an Example here...

Year of Exam........................................... 2012
Subject (GS or Optional).................. GS
Paper(1 or 2) .......................................... 1
Total Marks.............................................. 300
Attempted Marks................................. 210
Expected Marks.................................... 125
Attained Marks..................................... 110
Writing Style........................................... Point wise and telescopic for 2/5/10 markers, paragraphs for 15/20/25
Plus points.................................... Good Hand Writing, lots of Facts and tables/diagrams/flow charts, 2 pens (black--Heading/underline, Blue--main body)
What more you could have done?..... Could not complete the syllabus during preparation....covered only 60-70 %.....could have attempted more...lack of analytic content in answers ...

Please Guys....do share your experiences....
