Just send His Highness Dalai Lama to Arunachal Pradesh for summer vacation and China would be at her knees again. His Highness Dalai Lama is India's strategic asset. He can shake the entire Chinese civilization by just smiling and greeting people with folded hands.

Geographically speaking, Chinese occupy a better strategic position due to Tibetan Plateau (Roof of the world). But who cares...Let's Kill them all
China is doing what any strong country does i.e flexing their muscles.
India is playing nicely, no need to bow down to china. China respects strong opponents. But we also need to be careful in balancing our equation viz a viz China and USA.
China is more concerned about USA and its Naval bases in Indian Ocean and Pacific ocean, the move of china to build its Naval presence in Africa ( Djibouti ) is to neutralise USA diego Garcia but India also feels these chinese base can affect balance in Indian Ocean where traditionally Indian and US had naval supremacy.
Recently, Kulbhusan Jadhav episode is also linked with Dalai Lama visiting Tawang.
2 most strategic locations are - Tawang and Siachen. Presently both are under Indias control but if situation arises china will not think twice - Siachen will open gateway to Ladakh and Tawang will enable to cutoff NE from India.
Blunder of Aksai Chin is well known. But more importantly the worst enemy of India is its defensive approach (atleast till now), its best example is not making good transport infrastructure near border area. This idea of not building building roads was given by some Amry General who thought if roads were good then China can easily reach Indian Heartlands. Fully neglecting the offensive strategy - importance of good infrastructure to provide quick support to units near border.
China, along the border has built good roads and with there high speed railway networks and maybe future railway running across Karakoram China will have even more upper hand in case of crisis.
This time is not appropriate to create animosity with China but to strengthen our economy, infrastructure and military for next 2 decades. Its just a matter of time when China will surpass USA in Military supremacy ( maybe next 30 years) and at that time only our own strength will keep us safe and not USA.
