Today RBI Grade B Phase 1 cutoff declared ... a solid dip of 20 marks in cutoff.... (Last year 98/200 this year 78/200 and 88/200 in 2015) owing to greater difficulty level
Similarly a solid dip of 20 marks cannot be ruled out in UPSC prelims too... So cutoff should come down to 97-102
I just want to make one argument against those who are predicting low cut offs. Last year, there were around 25-30 questions from Vision PT 365, a single source, that too direct questions, which resulted in high cut off.
But this year, around 20 questions of Polity directly from Laxmikanth, that too very easy, except a few debatable ones. And Laxmikanth is even more common source than Vision. So this will definitely have big impact on cut off.
So in no way, it can go less than 110. Most likely to hover around 115. Any counter arguments?

Bhaiyo main fir kah raha hu cutoff 104 .. 100 tak bhi gir sakta h .. khun se likh ke le lo.. full and final.. 7 din se analysis kar ke faisla huwa h ..

True ..cut off depends on difficulty level...in 2013 it raise sharply(209 to 241) & in 2014 fell sharply (205).....2015 was moderate paper, 2016 was easy ......2017 paper is difficult compare to 2014, 2015 (we should not talk about 2016 which was like spcs paper).....there will be dip in cut off..if take 109 for general in 2015(although it was 107 but it was due to less intake of obc which is unlikely this year)....7, 8 marks dip can happen....highly cut off 102+_2......may be less
