@fakeid hi.. I am myself almost certain that d will never be treated as the correct answer. But rpl doesn't just certify, it also trains- see the word "align" in that statement. It provides bridge courses necessary for a formal recognition. I used this reason to mark my answer as d because vision govt schemes pt365 had talked about the bridge courses in rpl. So just hoping for a miracle but otherwise counting it as wrong.
I had filed a grievance in the DARPG regarding the question and intake for MAINS . It has been assigned to upsc, they said that it'll take 2 months to get processed. He said " Aapke jese bohot log hai jinhone questions ko lekar complaint ki hai, how are u asking us to expedite the process of resolution of grievance when it takes approx 2 months" Even if one is 100% sure of being selected one would agree that the questions had a lot of potential to be framed in a better way especially the questions like RPL which starts with " The scheme was in news with reference to" The statement of option A seems to be directly lifted from TOI 2015 Rest of the sources do not restrict the scope of RPL to construction workers and evidently talks of training as a bridge course as well. It is apparently sure that upsc will proceed with A but it isn't justified I guess. Let's blast upsc with complaints even if they won't respond.
What if answer is d ?
I mean it said "recently" can we really consider 2015 as recently ?
Does upsc require us to consider 2015 as recently whereas the newer developments point to option d ....... Either it's a trap question or it is a poor option framing ....................
A really hardworking student who is aware of latest developments in the scheme will mark it as d fr sure..... If upsc gives answer as a ..... It will be very unfair to such a hardworking student .....
Your analysis is dripping with wisdom. This is the truth which people are not understanding. Earlier, toughness used to mean that hardworking students could fare better. But now, the questions were ironically framed to trap deeper thinking options. The least UPSC can do is to atleast publicly sort out the answers to controversial questions. It's not so impossible, if you remember that they clarified on 'engendered' essay last year.
